Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada: Calls to Action

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) was established to address the historical injustices and harms caused by Canada’s residential school system, particularly against Indigenous children and their communities. The TRC released a report in 2015 that included 94 Calls to Action aimed at redressing the legacy of residential schools and advancing the process of reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.
